Train Operations and Management to Capture Maximum Fuel Savings and Value
FuelTrax™ and FuelNet™ are highly automated, well documented and easy to use. Like any tool, however, being properly trained in FuelTrax and FuelNet will increase their overall value and encourage their use. Training is an important part of the Life-Cycle Program for FuelTrax and FuelNet, and occurs on two levels:
Captain/Crew – Using FuelTrax to Save Fuel and Improving Vessel Performance
Management – Using FuelNet for Business Reporting and Vessel Management
Training commences from the time FuelTrax is commissioned on the vessel, when the Captain and crew are provided hands-on instruction in the use of FuelTrax. While the use of both FuelTrax and FuelNet is straightforward, a helpful instructional video is also made available as part of the FuelTrax training phase.
Customized classroom training is available either at Nautical Control Solutions’ facilities in Houston and/or on the customer’s premises for a 10 - 15 people per class. To align with the work schedule of Captain and crews, training during various shifts can also be arranged.
